with Colin Pratt
Colin conducts a range of different workshops in this age-old technique of using coloured waxes to create works of art.
His introductory workshop is a pre-requisite to further workshops such as those using special effects (shellac and bitumen for example) and 3-D encaustic art

In this workshop we will fold down & cut pages for a multiple section notebook sewn onto  leather support.
Lets get creative with some fancy stitching on the spine of the book!

This leather bound notebook will be sewn with a waxed linen thread – the sewing path will form a decorative pattern on the spine of the book.
Finish the notebook with a wrap around strap closure.
A great travel journal or notebook to slip into  your everyday handbag.

Pre-Requisite – ‘Simply Sewn Books’ workshop
Cost $70.00 includes all materials to complete your book (bring your kit from ’Simply Sewn Books’)
Maximum number of participants – 8  (limited places remain)
